Medium light (such as fluorescent or partially, 50-70%, shaded sun). Germination takes 1-8 weeks. Also see our Cactus seed sowing guide. Acclimating plants from the mail: Plants are shipped either bare root or no root (cuttings) and when received should be placed in the open to allow further drying for 1-2 days before potting. Do not place in cold areas or areas that receive direct sun. After 2 days pot into an appropriate well drained soil that dries out fast. Do not water for at least 1-2 weeks.
