Description: This is the same as any A. asterias except it is naked, meaning no white flecking; only areoles.

Skin: Completely lacking any white flecking. Many other forms, varieties and cv's can be var nudum. Variegated, crests etc can all have the nudum trait as well, making them the colour and textue of their skin.
