Description:

Distribution: San Luis Potosi, Mexico

Rib form: In sets of 5 or 8 ribs.

Max. size: Authors state 10-50mm.

Skin: Grey-green.

Areoles: Wool drops off easily, so plants may appear bare.

Roots: About 3cm and fat like Lophophora.

Reproduction: Unknown.

Flower Morphology: Similar in colour as Lophophora koehresii, but unlike L. koehresii the flowers are more rounded.

Petal colour: White to light pink.

Fruits: White to light pink.

Seeds:

Notes: Seeds have been offered for sale by a couple collectors, and plants are now being grown. Time will unfold many mysteries with this pretty little new Lophohpora. Our first seeds germinated on February 2, 2010.
