Cacti breeding compatability chart

There are 4 options:

Readily means the cross works often and easily.

Successful means the cross works often but sometimes doesn't. "Hit and miss".

Possible means the cross can work, but may not work every time.

No means the cross has not worked.

These are only our observations, crosses that have not worked for us, may have worked for others.

Each box will also have 2 numbers representing successful crosses and unsuccessful crosses, in that order. 2/4 means 2 attempts worked and 4 failed, for example.

Notes

1. We pollinated a Lophophora diffusa with Obregonia denegrii pollen and fruits set. We will not know if it was indeed a true cross or not until the seeds grow. See here for more info.

2. Lophophora fricii pollen seems rather acceptable to Lophophora koehresii, but using L. koehresii pollen on L. fricii moms has so far not yielded a single fruit.
