General Ethnobotanical Information

Ethnobotanicals means botanicals, or plants, use by people. This can be anything from tres cut into lumber, medicines, food, poisons, even landscaping could technically fall into this category.

Although almost any plant could theoretically be called an ethnobotanical, it is more often used for medicines, foods, construction and those sorts of direct beneficial uses. It is in this sense of the word that we use here on this website, mostly for medicinal, chemical or food related use on this site.
