Pereskiopsis spathulataDespite it's looks and fleshy leaves, this is actually a cactus. A very unique cactus defying almost every cactus "rule". They have leaves, love high humidity, can take plenty of overwatering (prefers it!) and it grows VERY fast! Because of its abilitiy to take in lots of water, has lots of leaves (lots of surface area for photosynthesis) and has a narrow stem; this cactus is used a lot for grafting other seedling cacti. This cactus is unmatched in it's growth to other cacti! |
