Mimosa hostilis - Jeruma
Dried Mimosa hostilis Root Bark: The root bark of Mimosa hostilis is a very pink colour and rich in tannins. Useful for tanning or as a possible dye. The root bark is also used by some in special religious ceremonies as it has a high concentration of a certain substance useful to those on journeys.
Dried Mimosa hostilis Stem Bark: The stems of Mimosa hostilis are covered in decentsize thorns, much like a rose thorn. The bark has been used in emergencies as a make do cleaning substance. Boiled in water the resulting tea is very heavy in tannins. Stem bark will have most of the thorns rubbed off to protect the bag they are packaged in, but not all will be removed.
Dried Mimosa hostilis Leaves: Leaves of Mimosa hostilis are simply for people interested in study. We harvest to order and do not preharvest and store this product until someone sends us an inquiry.
