Myrtillocactus geometrizans Cuttings: All of our Myrtillocactus geometrizans cuttings are from mature plants of varying thickness. Usually cuttings are around 2-5cm diameter. Plants are cut and healed for a few days prior to sale.
Myrtillocactus geometrizans Plants: Like the cuttings, plants are the same in all ways but they are rooted for a few months prior to sale. They do slow down in the winter months here when temps get down to the teens (C), so spring/summer is best for actively growing plants.
Myrtillocactus geometrizans Crests: Myrtillocactus geometrizans forma cristate is a lovely form of blue myrtle. These do often form fan crests, though also tend to lean and grow tall at the same time. A small plant can go from 10cm to 20+cm in a single year, very fast for cactus crests.
Myrtillocactus geometrizans variegated Crests: Like the crests above, Myrtillocactus geometrizans forma cristate variegate grow into great large cristate plants, though these are actually variegated yellow as well. This plant is quite rare and we do not offer too many for sale during the year. They are still fairly speedy growers, but slower than all green crested cactus plants.
Myrtillocactus geometrizans Breast Cactus: Myrtillocactus geometrizans cv. ‘Fukurokuryuzinboko’, more frequently just called “Breast Cactus” is a very unique plant indeed. In Chinese we call it " Breast Pole " because it grows as a columnar cactus like its normal form, but the tubercles are enlarged in such a way to quite accurately resemble a women’s breast. Many people that like this plant also enjoy the Penis Plant.
Myrtillocactus geometrizans Variegated: Myrtillocactus geometrizans var. variegate is like its normal physical form just variegated with yellow. It is actually quite beautiful with its blew new growth and the streaks of yellow running through it, but we produce VERY few of these for sale.
Myrtillocactus geometrizans Chimera: Myrtillocactus geometrizans x Gymnocalycium mihanovichii Chimera is a one of a kind plant. This is actually 2 species of plants mixed up in the same body and struggling to out grow the other. Unlike other cactus chimera, this one is pretty stable. You will be growing both species in one cactus body, and you will see how mutated and bazaar it can get!
