Fairly easy although fungus can be a problem. This seed may take up to 3 months to germinate, usually 2 for us. Place a few cm into a clean potting mix. We use 50/50 potting soil/coco coir. Keep above 20 C and don't let the soil stay wet or very dry.

Argyreia nervosa

Nick and soak for 12-24 hours and place in commercial soil mix. Do not keep wet, and do not let dry out. Keep above 20 degrees celsius for best results

Delonix regia

It is best to either nick and soak or pour boiling water into a bowl with the seeds and let soak for 24 hours. Then proceed to plant in a general purpose mix. Untreated these seeds can take up to 12 months to sprout. Treated they may sprout as soon as 2 weeks. Water once soil dries at top, and keep above 20 C.

Desmanthus illinoensis

Soaking for 24 hours prior to planting is recommended. Also using slightly boiling water, pour the water into a bowl containing seeds. Let soak for 12-24 hours and plant into almost any kind of loose potting soil. Germination with this method is often under a week.

Desmanthus leptobolus

Soaking for 24 hours prior to planting is recommended. Also using slightly boiling water, pour the water into a bowl containing seeds. Let soak for 12-24 hours and plant into almost any kind of loose potting soil. Germination with this method is often under a week.

Luffa cylindrica

Place 1-2 cm deep in commercial potting mix. No special care is needed except keeping them warm, 15 degrees or more. Once the soil starts to dry water again, very easy to grow.
