Carica papaya

Treat with fungicide, damping off is a problem. Plant in large well drained pot and keep above 20 degrees Celsius.

Delonix regia

It is best to either nick and soak or pour boiling water into a bowl with the seeds and let soak for 24 hours. Then proceed to plant in a general purpose mix. Untreated these seeds can take up to 12 months to sprout. Treated they may sprout as soon as 2 weeks. Water once soil dries at top, and keep above 20 C.

Desmanthus illinoensis

Soaking for 24 hours prior to planting is recommended. Also using slightly boiling water, pour the water into a bowl containing seeds. Let soak for 12-24 hours and plant into almost any kind of loose potting soil. Germination with this method is often under a week.

Hylocereus undatus

Plant in a clean soil that has some grit added. we use 20/20/60 sand/grit/potting soil. Keep a little moist and high humidity. Keep above 20 C.

Lophophora sp.

Very easy to germinate and sprout. Plant on the surface of a very well drained soil/sand mix. Covering with soil not needed, or a very light sprinkle. Provide humidity tent for about a month, longer if desired. Do not give too much light at first to avoid burning. Keep above 20 C.

Luffa cylindrica

Place 1-2 cm deep in commercial potting mix. No special care is needed except keeping them warm, 15 degrees or more. Once the soil starts to dry water again, very easy to grow.

Seeds remain viable for many years if stored right. Plant a few mm in most potting soils or seed soils. Keep above 20C and keep moist, we prefer to plant in high light levels. Germination should happen within a few weeks.
