Miracle Fruit
Synsepalum dulcificum
Family: Sapotaceae
Synonym(s): Bumelia dulcifica, Sideroxylon dulcificum
Distribution: Cultivated in warm regions for its interesting fruit. Native to: Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria, Zaire.
Seasonal Availability: Seeds are only available in fall through spring. Basically anytime but rainy season. This is due to heavy rains knocking the flowers/fruit off the plant which results in zero seed harvest during this time. October-March is the best time to order.

Shipping Information
Both seeds & plants require registered express air mail service in order to ensure safe delivery.
Seeds
It has been our experience that these seeds need to be really fresh to grow. This may not be the rule, but has been so in every case here. Even then, at least when we tried, germination was not great. In order to deliver the freshest seeds possible we need you to let us know you need the seeds ahead of time. Reason being we do not dry and store seeds. What we try and do is have you tell us how many you want and when the fruits are still green we email you back to tell you they will be ripe soon. When payment is complete, we pick the seeds right off the bush and place them in a small ziplock style bag with moist sphagnum moss and mail it out within the hour. It is then up to the postal service you choose and yourself to get them planted :)
Plants
All plants are shipped bare root unless otherwise mentioned (if you are not sure, just email us). Plants' root mass is placed inside a plastic bad with slightly damp sphagnum moss and packed inside the box.
