You must email us and get a quote before payment. Every item has a different shipping cost and maybe method, so it is required that you get a quote first, before payment. This also ensures that you are sure about your order, and there is no confusion at any point.

Please note that all prices are now in Canadian dollars (CDN).

You may decide to order through our online order form (uses outlook express) or by mail. If you are unable to use our order form (you don't have Outlook Express) you may simply email us your desired item(s) and give us your country of destination. We will then promptly email you back with a quote. You may also print out our Mail Order Form if it's convenient. Mailing a letter with your desired items is acceptable as well.

Payment Methods

Please be sure to get a quote specific to the currency you are using.

Cash

Accepted Currencies: Taiwan Dollar, United States Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Euro, Singapore Dollar and Hong Kong Dollar.

One method which is used frequently with orders is simply mailing cash. This is best done inside a letter or card placed inside a regular envelope. Please contact us with your order BEFORE sending money! There is a chance that we are out of stock and have yet to update the website. So please wait for a confirmation letter/email.

If sending cash please be sure to send non-damaged bills, preferably new. Banks here will not accept torn, cut, worn out bills. Thanks for your understanding. Also be aware that it takes roughly 2 weeks to get standard mail here from most countries, so this makes your order take longer.

Credit Cards and Paypal

We now accept payments through paypal. You may pay us with your credit card, or your paypal account. Just email us your order and we will give you a quote and send a money request. From there, you follow the steps at paypal to pay for the order.

Shipping Methods

Air mail: 6-20 days

Shipping via air mail is our standard for everything except plants. It takes on average 6-10 days, but up to 2.5 weeks should be allowed. For prices on shipping please contact us with your order information and your country of destination and we will get back to you with a quote for shipping.

Price depends on size and destination

Air mail Express: 2-5 days (sometimes more)

This is one of the best options for most everything. It is very quick taking 2-5 business days to ship. It is also very cost effective. This is the price of regular Air mail plus $2 USD. 4 packs of Rivea corymbosa seeds will cost about $4.00, for shipping, to the USA, and arrive in 2-5 days. RECOMENDED.

Add $2.00 USD to any package for this option.

*Please note, some countries are slower at delivering packages than others. It is up to the destinations postal system to deliver things on time. Packages to the United States no longer have this option due to changes in the US postal system.

Registered Air mail: 6-20 days

Same as air mail except there is tracking and requires someone to sign for delivery. Like EMS but not as fast.

Registered Express (EMS)

This is a great option that seems more on par with European and North American countries price for shipping (our shipping charges are generally less than other countries international charges). Prices are calculated by size, weight and destination, so you must email us your order and we can send you a quote. For most orders cost is $10-$20 per package. This is the only option which has tracking and you must sign for it upon arrival, therefor is the only shipping method we will garauntee!

By ship (ocean freight)

This method is not allowed for plants, and is not recommended for seeds either. It is very slow (4-8 weeks) and is not cared for great (our packages should hold up anyway). The advantage is it is very cheap.

A 10 cm cube that is 100 grams will only cost $4.00 USD to the USA, for example.

International Orders.

Most of our business is done around the world in most major countries. Because of the legal status of some of the plants we sell in certain countries, and various countries regulations on importation of plants/seeds we do not garauntee orders that are confiscated by customs. Please be aware of your countries laws and regulations before ordering, we are not responsible for customs' actions.

Phytosanitary certificates

Due to the distance the office is from our nursery, we are not able to get certificates instantly, unless special arrangments are made.

These certificates have a basic cost of $20 each, plus a variable amount depending on the value of the plants. Most small orders are simply $20. Please email us for a quote.

IMPORTANT: It is up to the buyer (importer) to inform us if they want a Phytosanitary certificate. We do not ever assume you want one until you tell us you do or ask about it. All certificates actually cost $20, we don¡¦t earn anything from these, so they are not refundable and cannot be changed once issued. The order cannot be changed at all, not even 1 more seed pack, after it has been issued, a new certificate must be made. So be sure on your order before we take everything to be inspected because there is no possible way to get them to edit it.

Basic Requirements

Your shipping address, exact number of plants/seeds and species name(s) (cannot be changed after certificate is issued) and payment.

Availability Sometimes the things listed on the site have sold out and it is not yet updated on the site. Items may or may not be in stock regardless of whether the site lists them as in stock or out of stock. Usually, however, if it says in stock it is. Some items are extremely popular and can sell out in one day. A couple days later I may harvest seeds and it will be in stock again. It is important to email me before sending your order.

Substitutions If you happen to change your mind about something you ordered you may change it at any time BEFORE we have preparred it (for plants this means before we take it out of the pot/ground). Once orders are shipped, the sale is final. If we are out of stock of certain items you may also request a substitute item or ask to have that item put on our waiting list for when it is in stock again.

Shipping/Customs It is up to the buyer to know their own countries laws and regulations. We are not responsible for packages being held or destroyed by customs or other government agencies. Please know your local regulations before ordering.

Refunds/Replacements We will only replace/refund things that are shipped with a tracking number and with all required paper work. Plants and seeds that are taken by customs will not be replaced or refunded. Same with plants that go MIA via ocean or air mail unless registered (can track it). Damaged plants require high res pics of the damage imediately after openign the package. Packages that are the victims of post office soccer or some such thing, are the responsibility of the post office, and complaints should be taken up with them. We are here to help and get you your things as soon as we can. But the world is a big place and you need to know what your region needs in the weay of legalities. Also we cannot controll postal workers, so if they muck up, they are responsible and one must go to them for assistance.

International Orders** We ship everything worldwide. If we are to garauntee our shipments, all legalities must be taken care of. If customs destroys your package for legal reasons, we will not refund or replace the order. It is up to the buyer (importer) to understand their local laws and inform us of what certificates and paper work is needed. In general all that is needed is a Phytosanitary certificate and sometimes CITES paperwork, see below.

Phytosanitary certificate Some countries require this for anything plant related, some countries only for live plants (not seeds). Please be aware of your own countries laws, as we cannot be sure of all the current laws in so many different countries! If you need this, it is a flat $20 (USD) for most orders. Large/expensive orders are subject to a value fee as well according to Taiwan regulations. Because we need to drive about 100km each way to obtain these certificates, we only make the trip once per month, so please inform us if you require this as soon as possible.

CITES species If you require CITES paperwork in your shipment, please inform us of which species you need it for and we can start the paperwork.

This costs extra.

Payment Before we ship anything out, we must recieve payment in full. Once payment is recieved then we will continue to ship out your package after we confirm your mailing address.

We accept cash in new undamamged bills in the following currencies: Canadian $, Euro, Hong Kong $, Taiwan Dollar, and USA $. Paypal is also acceptable

Due to bank service charges we do not take MO's, Checks, bank transfers etc. Sorry!
